Union Dredgers & Marine Contracting Co.FZC LLC (UDMC) was formed in UAE as a specialist technical partner in the field of Dredger equipment supply, marine and dredging contracts. With the increase in the real estate business dredging operations have increased considerably, increasing the demand for high quality service and equipment supplier. UDMC has started with nominal staff strength of 37 team members from various nationalities who exhibit high energy levels, enjoy working in a fast paced team environment and can communicate effectively with customers.LocationsWe are presently based at Dubai. With the need to exhibit a high amount of commitment UDMC has established its corporate headquarters at RAK free zone. The new corporate headquarters has already been operational on a 7000 SQM area in RAK since 2008 with focus on manufacture & assembly.UDMC has plans of fully fledged operations in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Iran and Iraq. The time frame for the same has been set by 2010 for fully operational branches.Contracting ActivitiesUDMC has under taken various medium and small sized contacts in RAK, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Dubai for dredging, beach cleaning activities, beach reclamation, laying of water pipelines for desalination plants, installation of buoys and maintenance of marinas. A few of our projects are taken on turnkey basis.
